In 1992 Christine Albert gathered some of the finest musicians in Austin, Texas and created her own musical genre that has been called ''a waltz across Texas with Maurice Chevalier''. With a grandmother from Paris and deep Texas musical roots, Christine's pure, country-folk vocal is the common thread as ''Texafrance'' gracefully moves between languages and styles - from swing to Cajun to Parisian chanson.
